Benefiting Italy High School, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and other North Texas charities, the Tour d'Italia enters its Silver Anniversary, 25th year, bigger and better then ever. We expect 2000 riders to earn one of our collector-quality T shirts this year. The city of Italy will be handling traffic control and parking, with special parking for preregistered riders. Camping is available at the high school, and in the air conditioned gym.

Routes from 12 to 63 miles appeal to the entire family.

Late registration will be at Italy High School. Packet pickup for preregistered riders will be at various bike shops in June, and at the high school beginning Friday evening, June 18th.

Ride start will be on Main St. in downtown Italy at 8:00 a.m. Late registering riders will have an open start from the high school, 8:15-9:00 a.m.

Whichever route you choose, you will enjoy our great rest stops, featuring fresh fruit, including our special ripe plums and nectarines, and manned by our friendly volunteers.

Meals: Italy High School coaches are cooking this year. All-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner Friday night: Adults $7, kids 12 and under, $5. Pancake breakfast Saturday morning, $5. Lunch Saturday: hamburgers, $2.50, Hotdogs, $2, Chopped beef sandwich, $3.

After the ride, enjoy free snow cones, Dr. Pepper products, and a hot shower at Italy High School.
